LK Valves & Controls were called upon to deliver 2 x DN400 and 1 x DN600 fully WRAS approved wedge gate valves. Delivery was critical. The valves were supplied to site within 24 hours of receiving the call.

These roll on roll off ferries are 50 metre long with a 13.5 metre beam and are larger, fasted and substantially more fuel efficient than the vessels they replaced.

The 96 metre long superyacht is powered by four MTU engines, two of 12 cylinders of 2610 bhp each, and two of 16 cylinders of 3351 bhp each. They are geared to twin screws and produce a service speed of 18.5 knots.

Over a decade ago LK Valves & Controls won a contract to supply a complete ship sets of valves to three 70 ton bollard pull Voith Schneider propelled tugs.
