LK Valves & Controls Ltd have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales Operative based at our purpose built office and warehouse facility in Liverpool UK. Working alongside our existing team, your primary role will be as a point of contact for inbound customer enquiries.
The main duties and responsibilities include:
- Answer incoming calls in a professional and polite manner.
- Always offer a high level of customer service.
- Build a friendly and professional relationship with customers and suppliers and project a positive, helpful, ‘can do’ attitude.
- Process and respond to incoming sales enquiries from new and existing customers via email and telephone.
- Where suitable, offer items from our large stockholding portfolio from a number of market leading European manufacturers.
- Contact suppliers for quotations and obtain information on the product they sell, in order to quote customers via phone or via complete quotations to the company’s customers.
- Create detailed and accurate quotations using the company quotation templates using product descriptions provided by the company and provided by suppliers.
- Send quotations to customers, supported by detailed product information when possible.
- Offer technical advice and support to all customers.
- Pro-actively chase selected quotations to gather further information.
- Relay and share any important information from customers and suppliers to work colleagues / management.
- Grow the company’s existing business when the opportunity arises and develop new sales business when possible.
- See visiting sales and purchasing representatives when required.
Please note, this is an office based role so only candidates who are able to commute to the premises in Liverpool will be considered.
